Research interests: comparative and molecular physiology of the kidneys and water-salt balance. Studies were conducted on representatives of all classes of vertebrates. The features of the participation of kidneys in the regulation of water-salt metabolism in lampreys, freshwater, migratory and marine fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals are shown. The mechanism of action of vasopressin and vasotocin on the osmotic permeability and transport of ions, in particular sodium, in the cells of the renal tubules was studied. The role of various subtypes of V-receptors in the molecular mechanisms of regulation of these processes is shown. Research skills: osmometry, flame photometry, spectrophotometry, ELISA, measurement of water flow by the osmotic gradient in the bladder of the frog and small intestine of rats, methods of statistical data processing
