Research interests: physiology of visceral systems, morphophysiological studies on amphibians as animal models for investigating epithelial transport processes in the kidney and small intestine, including comparative and evolutionary aspects. The mechanisms of the hydroosmotic effect of antidiuretic hormone are investigated. The absorption of intact nonapeptides in frog small intestine was established. Adaptive changes in the structure and function of enterocytes at different periods of hibernation were revealed. The regularities of GFP and YFP reabsorption in rat and frog kidneys were established. The mechanism of endocytosis in renal proximal tubular epithelium of amphibians was studied using immunochemistry and confocal microscopy. The involvement of endocytosis receptors in the uptake and intracellular transport of various proteins was shown.
