My main research interests are focused on the study of molecular mechanisms of functioning of the cholinergic and monoaminergic nervous systems in animals at different levels of evolutionary development. I am studying the mechanisms of comparative antienzyme action of highly specific negative regulator groups in the cholinergic system of vertebrates and invertebrates as potential ganglion blockers. I am studying the role of proinsulin C-peptide in the regulation of physiological and biochemical processes in the body and its possible use for the treatment of metabolic and endocrine disorders.
