I have been working in the Laboratory of Comparative Biochemistry of Cellular Functions since august 2020. Since september 2021, I have been a research laboratory assistant and also study the disorders in the glutamatergic system of the hippocampus in epilepsy under the leadership of E.V. Chernigovskaya. To model epilepsy, we selected a line of Krushinsky-Molodkina rats predisposed to audiogenic seizures. We plan to study changes in the functioning of glutamatergic neurons in the hippocampus during the development of limbic epilepsy as a result of repeated stimulation according to the kindling protocol. In our study, we plan to use such methods as Western blot analysis, PCR, immunohistochemistry, etc. At the moment, some of the results have been published by Epilepsy and Behavior.
