Research interests include the study of platelet apoptosis and the interactions between apoptotic and inhibitory signaling pathways in platelets; intracellular signal transmission associated with various types of cell death (apoptosis, autophagy, necroptosis); the antitumor therapy effects on platelets, and the role of platelets in the development of tumor diseases. Investigations are conducted with the use of flow cytometry, Western blot analysis, electron microscopy and a measuring of platelet aggregation and platelet shape change reaction by small-angle light scattering using Lasca.
