A leading expert in the field of the molecular endocrinology, the biochemistry of hormones and the neurochemistry. The main areas of scientific activity are the study of the molecular basis of the functioning of the hormonal signaling systems in norm and in the metabolic and endocrine diseases, the deciphering and investigation of molecular mechanisms of the action of hormones, neurotransmitters, adipokines and growth factors on the nervous, endocrine, cardiovascular and other systems, as well as the development, the study of mechanisms and targets of action and the preclinical studies of allosteric regulators and modulators of the hypothalamic-pituitary system, which are belonging to the classes of the heterocyclic and peptide compounds. The author of 400 articles and reviews in peer-reviewed journals indexed in the Web of Sciences and Scopus databases, 12 chapters in reputable international books, and nine monographs.
