A. Schwarz graduated from Master of Biology program with honors from the Department of Biochemistry of St. Petersburg State University. He studied from 2013 to 2017 in full-time postgraduate studies at the Institute of Experimental Medicine, where on May 30, 2019. defended his thesis “Expression of the dopamine receptor D2 gene in the medial prefrontal cortex of rat brain in the development of cognitive impairment caused by an increase in the level of interleukin-1β in early postnatal ontogenesis.” He takes part in studies on changes in the molecular mechanisms of neuroplasticity in experimental models of seizures and activation of the immune system during early life. He owns methods of working with laboratory animals and various methods of biochemical analysis, in particular RT-PCR in real time, Western blotting, high performance liquid chromatography, enzyme immunoassay.
