A leading expert in the field of the molecular endocrinology and the biochemistry of hormones. The main areas of scientific activity are the study of the functional activity and the mechanisms of action of the hormonal and adipokynes-regulated signaling systems and their disturbances in diabetes mellitus and metabolic syndrome, the study of the molecular basis of the functioning of the gonadal and thyroid systems and the development of their low-molecular-weight regulators with the activity of agonists and antagonists, the investigation of the activity of hypothalamic signaling systems and the development of approaches for their correction using intranasally administered insulin and its combinations with other regulators of the hypothalamic signaling. The author of more than 160 articles and reviews in peer-reviewed journals indexed in the Web of Sciences and Scopus databases, 6 chapters in reputable international books, and three monographs.
